Presentation of Bills

The Hon. Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development moved the Bill entitled

“Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (Amendment)”

to amend the Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Act, No.2 of 1996.

The Hon. Buddhika Pathirana was granted leave to introduce the following Bills;

Adjournment Motion

Adjournment Motion on “Twelve Resolutions under Article 157 of the Constitution approved by Parliament on 19.12.2015” was moved by the Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1800 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Wednesday 27th January 2016.
