Privilege

The Privilege motion that the question of privilege arising out of the matter raised by Hon. (Prof.) Ashu Marasinghe, M.P. on 02nd December, 2015 in Parliament to the effect that his privileges have been infringed, moved by the Hon. Leader of the House of Parliament, was referred to the Committee on Privileges under Standing Order No. 127 of the Parliament.


Private Members’ Bills

The Hon. Sujith Sanjaya Perera was granted leave to introduce the following Bill, entitled

“U.L.M. Farook Foundation (incorporation)”

The above Bill was referred to the Minister of Social Empowerment and Welfare for report to Parliament under Standing Order 47 (5).

Today is the Twenty First Allotted Day of the Appropriation Bill (2016) – “Committee Stage Debate”.


Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment Time on “Permanent Building for study Centre of Open University of Sri Lanka, Nuwara-Eliya” was moved by the Hon. Mylvaganam Thilakarajah.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1855 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Thursday 17th December 2015.
