• The Second Instalment – Part XX and XXI and the Sixth Instalment – Part XXII of the Report of the Auditor–General for the Financial Year 2012;
• The First Instalment – Part III, IV and V and the Second Instalment – Part XVII of the Report of the Auditor–General for the Financial Year 2013; and
• The Second Instalment – Part II and III and the Third Instalment – Part I of the Report of the Auditor–General for the Financial Year 2014

under Article 154(6) of the Constitution of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

Parliament granted approval to print the Reports.

Privilege

The Privilege motion that the question of privilege arising out of the matter raised by Hon. Mujibur Rahuman, M.P. on 12th December, 2015 in Parliament to the effect that his privileges have been infringed, moved by the Hon. Leader of the House of Parliament, was referred to the Committee on Privileges under Standing Order No. 127 of the Parliament.


Private Members’ Bills

(i) The Hon. Roshan Ranasinghe was granted leave to introduce the following Bill, entitled

“Association of Professional Bankers - Sri Lanka (incorporation)”

The above Bill was referred to the Minister of Finance for report to Parliament under Standing Order 47 (5).

(ii) The Hon. Ajith Mannapperuma was granted leave to introduce the following Bill, entitled

“Organization of Protection of Antiquities (incorporation)”

The above Bill was referred to the Minister of Education for report to Parliament under Standing Order 47 (5).

(iii) The Hon. Nalin Bandara Jayamaha was granted leave to introduce the following Bill, entitled

“Kotasara Piyangala Rajamaha Viharastha Development Society (incorporation)”

The above Bill was referred to the Minister of Buddha Sasana for report to Parliament under Standing Order 47 (5).

The Hon. Mayantha Dissanayake was granted leave to introduce the following two Incorporation Bills;

(iv) All Island Bhikshu Benevolent Development Foundation
(v) Atharagalla United Community Development Foundation

The above Bills (i) and (ii) were referred to the Minister of Buddha Sasana and Minister of Social Empowerment and Welfare respectively for report to Parliament under Standing Order 47 (5).


Main Business of the House for Today

Appropriation Bill (2016) - Committee

Today is the Twentieth Allotted Day of the Appropriation Bill (2016) – “Committee Stage Debate”.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1830 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Wednesday 16th December 2015.
