Ministerial Statements

(ii) The Hon. Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, Minister of Education - Issue of vouchers for school uniforms


Private Members’ Bills

The Hon. Edward Gunasekara was granted leave to introduce the Bill, entitled

“Ranjith Aluvihare Foundation (incorporation)”

The above Bill was referred to the Minister of Social Empowerment and Welfare for report to Parliament under Standing Order 47 (5).

Appropriation Bill (2016) - Committee

Today is the Fifteenth Allotted Day of the Appropriation Bill (2016) – “Committee Stage Debate”.


Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment Time on “Compensation for Kidney disease patients in Anuradhapura District” was moved by the Hon. Ishak Rahuman.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1830 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Thursday 10th December 2015.
