(i) Order made by the Minister of Highways, Higher Education and Investment Promotion under Section 27(1) of the Universities Act, No. 16 of 1978 in relation to the establishment of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka, on the recommendation of the University Grants Commission and published in the Gazette Extraordinary No. 1906/6 of 16th March 2015.

(ii) Order made by the Minister of Higher Education under Section 27(1) of the Universities Act, No. 16 of 1978 in relation to the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, on the recommendation of the University Grants Commission and published in the Gazette Extraordinary No. 1903/63 of 27th February 2015


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1245 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Monday 27th April 2015.
