Questions under Standing Order 23(2)
The Hon. Nimal Siripala de Silva, the Leader of the Opposition made a statement under Standing Order 23(2), regarding the ‘Postponement of UNHRC Report’.
Private Members’ Bills
The Hon. Nalin Bandara Jayamaha was granted leave to introduce the Bill, entitled
“Sujeewa Senasinghe Foundation (incorporation)”
The above was referred to the Minister of Social Services, Welfare and Livestock Development for report to Parliament under Standing Order 47 (5).
Main Business of the House for Today
Assistance to and Protection of Victims of Crime and Witnesses Bill
was passed by the House with amendments.
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1847 Hrs. until 1330 Hrs. on Friday 20th February 2015.
