The Hon. Mangala Samaraweera, Minister of Finance and Mass Media delivered the ‘Budget Speech (2018)’ at 03.00 p.m.


Announcement by the Speaker

That all amendments to be moved during the Committee Stage in respect of the Appropriation Bill 2018 should be handed over to the Secretary-General of Parliament on or before 12.00 noon on Monday, 13th November, 2017.


Thereafter, the Second Reading Debate on the Appropriation Bill (2018) was adjourned at 1743 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Friday 10th November 2017.
